DNgeek is one year old!

It is exactly one year ago today that I published my very first post here on DNgeek. At the time I was domaining for two years and wrote I was “determined to make an effort in the new year to give back and contribute by sharing my own experiences, mistakes, strategies and thoughts” here on this blog. And what a year it has been!

got married, traveled to eight different countries, bought and sold a bunch of domain names, welcomed Michael Cyger to the Efty team, and somehow managed to publish 137 post here on DNgeek that got 754 comments. Traffic to the blog has been growing nicely and I would like to thank everyone that reads, subscribes and especially those of you that contribute with comments and discussions here on DNgeek.

I also like to give a shout out to Francois from Domaining.com for helping me establish an audience in the early days of the blog and to DNgeek’s sponsors brandable domain name marketplace Brandroot and domain name registrar Uniregistry.

Happy Holidays everyone!

  1. Congrats Doron!
I have made good connects with a startup in my country ‘Swiggy.in,’ all thanks to your blog!
I even got an internship from them.
I read a report on the blog that showed that they received some early round of funding. Contacted them with some ideas, one of which they were interested in implementing.

It was life-changing for me!! All Thanks to you.
I just try to return the favor by sharing your highly researched and excellent posts on forums!
