I skipped last weeks sales report because I was in the Netherlands where I ran the Amsterdam marathon together with Efty Co-founder Lionel. It was my first road-running marathon and it was much harder than expected but a very memorable and worthwhile experience nonetheless as I wrote here.
It was a pretty wild couple of weeks for brandable domain name sales with our first ever reported seven-figure brandable sale and another five sales well into the five-figure range. The seven-figure sale was that of MyWorld.com which sold for a whopping $1,200,000. The seller was Anything.com and the sale was brokered by domain name broker extraordinaire Larry Fisher.
Another interesting sale was that of Everex.com which went for the unusually high amount of $50k+ on reseller platform NameJet for the sole reason that there’s a Blockchain-based microlending startup which currently uses Everex.io for their website. The Everex.com domain name now resolves to a Uniregistry For-Sale landing page with a minimum offer of $750,000
Some names that I like on this weeks list include Wona.com, Edio.com, HappyTurtle.com and HomeGeek.com
Here’s the list:
Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major marketplaces specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.
