Brandable domain name sales week 32

It was a good week for brandable domain name sales with a couple of names selling in the five figure range again. Tica.com was sold for a cool $30,000 by Hong Kong based broker QLQ which specializes in short liquid domains.  There aren’t that many domain name investors, let alone brokers in Hong Kong, especially compared to Mainland China so it was nice to see a sale that originated in my hometown tops this week’s list.

Other names I like on this list include FutureFinance, DataClick and SweetLand.

Here’s this weeks list:

Domain Name Price Where
1. Tica.com $30,000 QLQ.com
2. Yardmax.com $10,000 Sedo
3. VanillaSky.com $7,544 BuyDomains

Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major market places specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales.

If you know of any recent, verifiable brandable domain name sales please do let me know so I can include it in next week’s report.

Some of my favorites are AudioDream, CyberShare, EquityExchange, FreshTopia, MotorByte, NetHero, TinySolutions, ValueTree and VentureCloud. What are your top picks?

    1. Great list Keith! Your added sales to this weekly report really is invaluable as it gives great insight in what investors can pick up in the X,xx range. I like:

      AudioDream
      DragonSpice
      NetHero
CyberShare (even the word cyber is a bit oldskool).

  2. The common thing all these names have is they seem to sound very natural when you say them. It is quite an art to find very strong and fluent\flowing words that fit together so well.
