It was a bit of a slow week for brandable sales compared to previous weeks but we still saw 3 names swooping in five figures in revenue. The top brandable sale is Finit.com which sold for $20,000 at Sedo. Finit also means Ends or Infinite in French but there’s a bunch of non French companies out there using the name so it’s safe to assume the domain was bought as a brand rather than a keyword one. The biggest trend and all the buzz this year is has been the rapid growth of the domain investment community in China. But even though short and numeric domains dominate the overall sales charts the end user prices for good brandables are rising steadily. I think with so many domainers spending all their time and budgets on the new Chinese driven trends it leaves some great opportunity for investors in the brandables space.
Some names I particularly like on this weeks list are: PriceFox.com, Jami.com and Anoka.com
Here’s this weeks list:
|Domain Name||Sales Price||Where|
Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major market places specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.
If you know of any recent, verifiable brandable domain name sales please do let me know so I can include it in next week’s report.
