Brandable domain name sales week 7: StartSelect.com, WordGenius.com, TastyLife.com

It was another solid week for brandable domain name sales which shows that the Chinese market has no or very little influence on this part of the industry. I don’t see total liquidity, floor prices and Chinese Whois offer spam come to the brandable domains vertical anytime soon due to the language barrier and a couple of other factors. The brandable market is driven by end-user sales which is a lot healthier in the long term imo.

Leading the chart this week is such a sale: StartSelect.com was purchased for $21,660 at Sedo by a Dutch online gaming e-commerce startup and the domain already is developed. Other names I like on this weeks list are WordGenius.com, TastyLife.com and Zigmo.com

Here’s this weeks list:

Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major market places specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.

If you know of any recent, verifiable brandable domain name sales please do let me know so I can include it in next week’s report.
