Brandable domain name sales week 35:,,

It was a bit of a mellow week for brandable domain name sales as we only saw one domain sell for five figures. That name was and it sold for exactly $10,000 on Sedo.  Runner up is which also sold on Sedo for $8,000. There’s a developed site on the domain already for what seems like a Philippines-based webshop offering gadgets and holidays with flexible payments. Sedo completes the top 3 with, a domain that went for $7,000. The Whois info for that domain still shows Sedo’s transfer service. I own so it’s interesting to see this one sold.

Names that I like on this week’s list include, and

Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major marketplaces specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.

If you know of any recent, verifiable brandable domain name sales please do let me know so I can include them in next week’s report.

  1. Wow, Sedo really dominating the list this week. Were these sold make offer? auction? or BIN? Does anyone know?
There are some really nice names but also a few mediocre ones that still sold for around $5K. A very interesting list. Thanks!

  2. I think I like the best in that list. Though, It had the potential to generate more than $10k at auction since it’s a combination of; Short (4L), Pronounceable, Brandable, .com, memorable.
