Brandable domain name sales week 22:,,

It is the first time in a while that we have a list without any five-figure sales on it. Some interesting sales nonetheless, starting off with which sold on for $7,700 (and $2,550 the year prior). The buyer seems to be a Chinese domain name investor and not Zore, the startup that has built a smart gun lock and currently uses the new domain extension This seems like a missed opportunity for the Jerusalem-based startup that could have bought their matching .com for less than $10k but most likely has to fork out a lot more if they want to purchase the domain in the future.  Another interesting sale was that of which was an expired domain name auction at GoDaddy. If you wonder why bidding went all the way up to $7,302, it is because there’s an established, global blockchain-based payment service provider named Bitwala which currently operates from the domain name.  It is too early to see who won the auction and the current owner might still be able to renew the domain name.

Here’s this weeks list:

Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major marketplaces specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.

If you know of any recent, verifiable brandable domain name sales please do let me know so I can include them in next week’s report.
