Post your 3 best new gTLD domain names.

Last week I asked you guys to share your best 3 brandable domain names and that post received almost 100 comments. It’s great to see what different investors consider there best domain names in a certain niche so I thought it would be nice to do a similar post asking everyone to share their 3 best domain names in one of the many new extensions that have come available during the last few years.

Regular readers know I mainly invest in .com domain names but I do own a few (around 25) domains in the new gTLDS. I have received a handful of inquiries over the years but I have yet to make my very first sales of a new gTLD.  Personally, I think its best to only invest in one-word domains when buying new extensions and that the before and after the dot word combination needs to makes sense.

Since I don’t have much experience in buying and/or selling domains in this niche I won’t likely give as much feedback on comments like I did last week.

My best 3 domain names in the new gTLDs are:

  1. Digital.Careers
  2. People.Care
  3. Recruitment.Media

Please don’t post sales prices (but feel free to share how much you’ve paid for a domain) – any domains offered for sale will be deleted. This is not a sales thread. You are free to share domain names that you have developed into active websites.

  1. Not sure if .cn would be considered “new” but it’s certainly pretty new to US investors so here we go. We own ” gorgeous car” in Chinese pinyin ( we also own the .com) “” which is “luxury car” sold for over $2 million USD last year.

    1. with such a heavy renewals, use some of your resources to develop these sites specially “used tires” and “junk cars” otherwise you will sitting at zero net.

      1. Hi Nick,

Thanks for your comment. Development, or proper development, is not so easy. If you have expertise in this area perhaps we could have a discussion.

We are prepared to pay the renewals for these assets until the right offer comes in. The new domains are long term holds and one can’t expect to buy these URL’s one day and flip them the next.

Regarding, the renewals are <$25 annually if I am not mistaken. Inquiries come in regularly, mostly from Europe & Asia. We have turned down multiple middle 4 figure offers.

Obviously the other 2 URL's renew at much higher rates but I think we can both agree that these are all top tier domains that span the dot.

  2. these guys are good investor of GTLD Space.

  3. You do a nice job on DNGeek Doron. Good, practical reporting and education. I own these three new gTLD’s – no one-words… but I think they’ll work. The first one was when I was having a “political moment” – but the other two have solid commercial application.

  4. Hard to choose just three, but here they are…. (because CRISPR is such a huge scientific breakthrough)

ps Thanks for another great poll. I like your three a lot, Doron, especially!
