The market for brandable domain names is red-hot at the moment. In the past two weeks, 11 five-figure sales were reported with CoinLink.com leading the chart with a cool $22,000. The domain name was first registered back in 1997 and used to be a developed site with resources for physical coin collectors. Looking at the current whois details the new owner seems to be based in China. Another notable sale was that of MissMary.com which fetched $20,000 in a sale facilitated by Sedo.com. The buyer is a Swedish company selling lingerie and swimwear that operates under the same name and currently uses the MissMaryOfSweden.com domain name.
