I’ve been running pretty much daily since Wednesday last week and been logging an average of 16000 steps a day thanks to a Garmin Running and Steps Challenge invite from Shane Cultra. Shane himself started off strong but quickly fell behind because of the flu. Or is it old legs? My other two components Mike Cyger and Christa Taylor do not disappoint, however. I’m in the lead at this very moment but it’s a small one and with less than 24 hours to go anything can happen. The winner gets to pick a domain name from Mike his portfolio.
The aftermarket for brandable domains did not disappoint either and with seven sales in the five-figure range last week alone it’s safe to say the market remains incredibly strong. HomeCloud.com sold for a whopping $22,250 at an expired auction on GoDaddy but the Whois hasn’t been updated so it’s unclear who bought it and if the domain name has been paid for yet. A Chinese buyer forked out $15,500 for Coba.com on Sedo. It’s not clear yet if it’s an end-user or investor play.
Here’s this weeks list:
Please do keep in mind that these are the highest sales that have been reported at NameBio et al. This list is meant to help give you insights and is nowhere near complete as many sales are kept private and the major marketplaces specializing in brandable domains do not report their sales. Some domain name sales might not have been paid for yet.
Meanwhile, here are some great brandable domains coming up for auction soon:
