The auction for the expired KiwiPlus.com domain name closed at a whopping $20,049 at DropCatch. It’s been almost a week since the auction closed but the Whois hasn’t updated yet so it’s still unclear if the domain name has been paid for and who the buyer is. There are a couple of potential end-user buyer for the domain name of which Korean kids phone maker KIWI PLUS, which is using a .io domain, is the most obvious one. Another notable sale was that of Boga.com for $12,000 which seemed to have been purchased by brandable domain name investor and BrandBucket seller Michael Bilde who already holds an impressive portfolio of CVCV domains.
