Financial technology is slowly but steadily disrupting the traditional finance and banking industry with cryptocurrency and the blockchain technology behind it leading the wave of innovation, change and inventions like Gunbot, a software that automates cryptocurrency. Naturally, savvy domain name investors with an eye for spotting trends early on registered the best domain names related to these new digital currencies and technologies years ago and we’ve been seeing a steady flow of impressive end-user sales for domain names related to cryptocurrency with the $2 million sales of ETH.com (which is the acronym for popular cryptocurrency Ethereum) being the most recent reported sale. It is a good idea to keep an eye on your investment, whether it’s through the stock market or through cryptocurrency. You can always find a ton of information online depending on what currency you have an investment in, for example you can check out somewhere like Bitcoin Australia for bitcoin statistics and pricing information. However, if you are looking for news on all types of currency that can be a little difficult, luckily you can get all the latest litecoin news from btcnn as well as on other forms of cryptocurrency so you can keep on top of your investment. IEven those who trade and invest in cryptocurrency have to think about taxes, if you want to learn more about tax cryptocurrency, a quick Google search might give you what you are looking for.
In the light of that blockbuster sale, I thought it would be nice to compel a list with the help of the Namebio database of the 25 highest reported domain sales related to cryptocurrency and the blockchain.

BTC.com looks like a good investment at that time.
Thanks for this research.
I see that BTC.com sold in 2014, which was certainly early days for crypto/blockchain – so it would undoubtedly sell for more, today.
But it is noteworthy that ETH.com sold for double that amount; and I’m very curious who bought it, and what the eventual site will look like.
It’s likely to be used as the ETHEREUM ‘app store’ hub, but we shall see.
I think BitCasino.com can be considered one. I see two trend in shop accepting Cryptocurrency, using Crypto (like Cryptopet.com) and using bit (see BitCasinos.com, Bitpay.com, and Bithouse.io). For example Bithouse.io is creating a platform to rent houses using Blockchain technology, Might be the next generation of Property market.
Great list with surely many more to come as we are just getting started in the fintech/blockchain/crypto space! I have seen much more activity personally in the past 6 months and look forward to hopefully more as we enter 2018.
Cheers,
Mike
